SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) - - When a victory looked to be out of reach in the Sioux Falls mayoral election last night, Jolene Loetscher called Paul TenHaken.
Along with congratulating TenHaken, Loetscher had another message for the new Mayor.
“I just congratulated him, and said that we all know it is a tremendous responsibility to represent the voice of those who voted for you,” Loetscher said. “But also those who didn’t vote for you, and those who can’t vote for you.”
She also said that she and her husband, Nate, and daughter, Liberty, will continue to lift him up in prayer.
Late last night, and following the call to TenHaken, Loetscher said she planned on sleeping in Wednesday morning.
“But then it’s going back to being a business owner, growing my bio-tech company, growing my advertising agency,” she said. “And of course, being a mom.”
