SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - (KELO.com) The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for critcal fire danger weather. Strong Southernly winds will gust up to 40-45 mph at times this afternoon. The combination of these stong winds, and dry vegetation will lead to very hight fire danger for Northeast Nebraska, the remainder of Southwest Minnesota, and across Southeast South Dakota.
Winds will remain breezy overnight and become windy again on Monday,especially along and east of I-29. Consider postponing burning due to the very high or extreme fire danger.
