SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Jolene Loetscher held an impromptu news conference on Friday to complain that the news media are painting an inaccurate picture of the hacking investigation.

"To read the headlines, it sounded like the investigation was closed and it was much ado about nothing and that could not be further from the truth."

She said that investigators have cleared only a fraction of her accounts.

"There are numerous accounts for them to still look at, court orders that have just gone out, and other campaigns providing their information regarding this situation."

For the record, Kelo.com stories on the hacking investigation have made it clear that only some accounts have been cleared and that the investigation is ongoing:

The hacking complaint and what she calls a threatening voice mail message from mayoral opponent Paul TenHaken have been spicing up the race just days before the May 1 run off.
