SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- A construction worker was critically burned this week at the Dow Rummel Village job site in Sioux Falls.
Police Spokesman Sam Clemens says the worker was "set on fire" and rushed to the hospital.
Limoges Construction's Erica Schmitt says the employee was badly burned while using a chop saw.
"I don’t have many details to offer as the investigation in to what exactly happened is ongoing. Our employee is stable but in critical condition. Our company is devastated that this happened and we are hopeful for the best possible outcome for him."
There's an expansion project underway at Dow Rummel on N. Covell Ave.
