SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Paul TenHaken is glad the past few days are over and he looks forward to the weekend--and Tuesday.
With the unprecedented allegations of someone hacking his opponent Jolene Loetscher's online presence, he's glad it looks like that issue has ended--and he's in the clear.
Now, he says it is time to get back to what he wants to do as the next mayor of Sioux Falls.
One of his ideas is each year, the City would bring faith leaders, non-profits, and the business community together to focus on one problem for a year. Maybe it would be getting mentors to young people. He says the City wouldn't do it but would be the catalyst for it.
He also discussed his current opposition to Loetscher's idea for police precincts. He says Sioux Falls probably at the size yet that needs precincts. And if they were to be implemented--now or in the future--he said it would take a lot more study.
The runoff election for Mayor and the Central District Councilor is Tuesday, May 1, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can vote absentee Friday and Monday at the Minnehaha County Auditor's Office.
