SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Paul TenHaken has laid out his first 100 days in office, if he beats Jolene Loetscher for Sioux Falls mayor.
He will focus on three key areas: fighting crime and narcotics, workforce development, and improving government transparency.
On crime, TenHaken will talk personally to the guys on the front lines.
"I'm going to meet with every single patrol officer and task force officer."
On transparency, he'll also start regular meetings with city councilors to keep them "better in the loop." and reach out to the media in creative ways.
On workforce challenges, he'll start round table discussions with Augustana, USF, Southeast Tech and the University Center to gather ideas on how to keep their graduates in Sioux Falls.
Ten Haken's 100 Day Plan is linked at the top of this story.
Loetscher and TenHaken face the voters in the May first run off. They were the top two vote getters in the April 10 election.
