Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) – The South Dakota Department of Transportation says a traffic shift is scheduled to occur on the Interstate 29 and 229 projects in Sioux Falls.
On Monday, July 25, I-29 southbound traffic from north of the Tea Exit to north of 57th Street will be shifted to the new southbound concrete pavement.
I-29 northbound traffic will remain as it is currently until Wednesday, July 27, when it will also be shifted to the new concrete pavement.
The substantial completion date for the project is Nov. 4, 2016. The prime contractor for the $33.8 million project is T&R Contracting Inc. from Sioux Falls.
