Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Police are investigating an armed robbery and kidnapping that happened late Friday night.
Lyon County, Iowa deputies contacted Sioux Falls Police just after midnight Saturday.. The deputies informed the department that they had a victim of an armed robbery and kidnapping from Sioux Falls.
The victim in the incident reported that he had been smoking a cigarette in the parking lot if the Sioux Falls Inn on West Russell. He was approached by a vehicle and force inside the vehicle at gunpoint.
He was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money, taken outside the city and pushed out of the vehicle.
The victim suffered minor injuries in the incident.
