SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- A in-home day care on Sioux Falls west side has been closed as police investigate a child's multiple injuries.
"Broken bones, kind of the injuries, that we had" says Police Spokesman Sam Clemens, who adds that the child suffered the injuries over a period of months.
The police won't release the child's age or the name of the day care because of Marsy's Law restrictions, but the business is near 22nd Avenue and South Sertoma.
Clemens emphasizes that its unclear just where the child received the injuries - could have been the day care, could have been somewhere else, the police simply are not sure at this point in the investigation.
