SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) - More World War II warbirds have alighted in Sioux Falls in anticipation of this weekend’s air show.
A B-25 Mitchell bomber—like the one used in the Doolittle Raid on Tokyo—and a Navy TBM torpedo bomber—like the one former President George H.W. Bush flew in the Pacific—arrived from the Missouri Wing of the Commemorative Air Force.
Also arriving, a Navy T-6 Texan, which trained many naval aviators.
They join a B-17 which arrived Monday. The aircraft are available for free viewing at Maverick Air Center.
