The National Weather Service said the Sioux Falls regional airport received about 3.6 inches of snow overnight.

The Sioux Falls area will be getting hit again on Saturday with snow amounts likely in the 3-5 inch range. The National Weather Service said depending upon the shift of the upcoming storm, seven inches are possible. Snow is forecast to begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday and will continue throughout the day and into Saturday evening.
