SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- The City of Sioux Falls issued a news release with concerns about two winter storms hitting the area today and Saturday.
"During the system moving through today and tonight, snow removal crews will focus on emergency and secondary snow routes," the City noted. "Because another system with substantial snowfall is expected to head our way on Saturday, a snow alert is likely to be declared this weekend."
The City says to check siouxfalls.org for details and plowing schedules.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch from 6 a.m. Saturday through Saturday evening. The area is already under a Winter Weather Advisory remain in effect until midnight tonight. The NWS says to expect 2-4 inches today and 5-8 inches of snow Saturday.
