SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) - Democratic State Representative Paula Hawks of Hartford is not a big fan GOP Presidential nominee Donald Trump.
The candidate for U.S. Congress says Trump is “not an acceptable option” and not a good role model for her children.
On the other hand, she acknowledges that Hillary Clinton will have a difficult time bringing South Dakota into the Democratic column for the first time since 1964—but thinks it could happen because of concerns over agricultural issues.
Hawks is running against incumbent Republican Congresswoman Kristi Noem. Hawks made her comments Tuesday morning on KELO Radio’s The Greg Belfrage Show.
