WASHINGTON, D.C. (KELO.com) -- Some folks from Sioux Falls attended the annual March For Life on Friday.
What motivates these people to take the long bus ride to Washington?
"It really set in that there is nowhere else I need to be and that if I'm not here who would be?" Emily Leedom tells KELO.com News that she's been coming to the March for four years.
She says that there is a "real spirit" that things are changing, especially with President Trump addressing the crowd.
O'Gorman High School Senior Theresa Fischer has been coming for at least a couple of years.
"I want to come and support this cause until abortion is ended forever." Fischer says it's incrediable to be part of something so big.
Every year, the Catholic diocese based in Sioux Falls rents buses to get people to the march.
KELO.com News sought comment from NARAL-South Dakota, an abortion rights group, but had not heard back before this story was published.
