SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Remedy Brewing Company in Sioux Falls has created a new beer that will especially appeal to Minnesota Vikings fans.
Co-owner Matt Hastad says 'Skolberry' is brewed with wheat and blueberries to make a purple beer.
"What's really fun about that many blueberries is that it changes the color of the wheat to a really nice, beautiful purple color." explains Hastad to KELO.com News.
'Skolberry' will be introduced at Remedy's downtown brewpub on Sunday, during the big Vikings-Saints playoff game.
He says all three founders are big Vikings fans and they were talking about how blueberries might make beer purple, and the Vikings were really starting to do well at the time, and it all came together in 'Skolberry.'
