SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- The three valuable guitars reported stolen from the stage of the District in Sioux Falls this week have apparently been found.

The guitarist for Whiskey Myers, John Jeffers, says on Facebook that the guitars have been located and are being returned. He gives no other details, except to write that "social media works."

Sioux Falls Police Spokesman Sam Clemens says that the police did not recover the guitars, and haven't heard if they have been returned.

The guitars are worth more than $7,000.

Whiskey Myers is a southern rock and country group based in Texas that had played at the District just hours before the guitars were reported missing.

The police identified the guitars as a Les Paul Goldtop, a Fender Stratocaster, and a Fender Telecaster.
