SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- The Minnehaha County Sherrif's Office issued the following statement this afternoon regarding the woman found dead in Harford earlier today:
"On 12-12-2017 at approx. 1256 the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s office was dispatched to the 500 blk of Sagehorn Dr. in Hartford SD for a body that was discovered in a swimming pool. The incident appears to be accidental however the investigation is ongoing. The name of the victim is not being released until the next of kin have been notified.
Assisting were the Hartford Fire Dept., the Minnehaha County Emergency Management and the Humboldt Ambulance."

HARTFORD, S.D. (KELO.com) -- A woman is reported dead in a pool in this bedroom community west of Sioux Falls.
Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office provided the following information to KELO.com News.
"The SO responded to the call this afternoon on Sagehorn Drive in Hartford. At this point, the death appears to be accidental, but we continue to investigate and will await the coroner’s findings. We have not provided additional information at this time because we are attempting to locate and notify family."
Milstead said the department hoped to provide additional information after 6 p.m. today.
The Argus Leader reports someone came to a residence on Sagehorn Drive to check on a resident about 1 p.m. and discovered the victim in the pool in the backyard.
