SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- A developing winter storm will affect the area Monday. Winter storm watches and advisories have been posted for parts of the region tomorrow. Rain will change to snow throughout the morning and into the afternoon.
There is a possibility of 2 - 4 inches of snow just to the north and west of Sioux Falls. the snow, along with some gusty winds, could produce blizzard conditions. A winter storm watch is in effect from late Monday morning into Monday afternoon and evening.
To the north and west of the watch area, winter weather advisories have been issued.
Currently, no watches or advisories are issued for the immediate Sioux Falls area, where an inch or two is expected.
