SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- A young man was killed in a crash on I-229 South near the busy East 10th Street interchange in Sioux Falls early Tuesday morning, slowing commuter traffic for hours.
The Argus Leader reports that the victim was a recent graduate of Lincoln High School, identified in an e-mail from the assistant principal as Alex Lorang. The authorities have not yet released the identity.
The two-vehicle crash occurred in the southbound lane of the interstate near 26th street. The Highway Patrol has so far released few additional details. For example, no official word on any injuries or what caused the fatal crash.
