Sioux Falls drug bust too close for comfort

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Nine people have been arrested in a drug bust near a Sioux Falls school.

Officer Sam Clemens says suspicious activity was going on at the duplex near Robert Frost Elementary, with people coming and going all the time. A search warrant was issued. The arrests were made. A small quantity of drugs was found.

The Sioux Falls Police released the following names and charges:

  • Morris Houston, 19, charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia

  • Morris Stamps, 37, charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia

  • Wardel Williams Jr., 25, charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia

  • Wardel Williams Sr., 46, charged with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance and keeping a place where controlled substances are stored

  • James Williams, 19, charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance, keeping a place where controlled substances are stored, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and violation of drug free zone

  • Tasha Posey, 29, charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia

  • Tonya Walker-Stamps, 44, charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia

  • Stefanie Cordier, 37, charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia

  • Roseanne Eagleroad, 25, charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia

The duplex is in the 3000 block of South First Avenue.
