SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Sioux Falls Police have made an unusually large meth bust - nearly a half pound of the highly addictive drug.
"We had a 181 grams of meth that was found. That translates to about .39 pounds of Meth," Sgt. Sam Clemens explains that finding ten grams in a bust is considered a high amount. About $14,000 has also been confiscated.
He says that four people have been arrested. There was an 8-year-old boy in the house in the 1600 block of West 26th Street at the time of the bust. The house is very close to two elementary schools.
This big bust was the result of a month long investigation.
Paul Alan Sandersfeld, 38, Amanda Aleen Hallsted, 37, Kevin Clinton Morehouse, 37, and LaRonada Kaye Lawson, 34, were all charged in connection with the bust.
