SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- A Nebraska company, Landscapes Unlimited, has been officially recommended as the next manager of Sioux Falls three city golf courses.
The selection committee's choice was announced on Wednesday.
Lincoln-based Landscapes is very familiar with Sioux Falls golf said President Tom Everett, because of important past projects.
"..Through the golf course construction of Prairie Green in 1991, as well as the golf course renovation at Elmwood over the course of the last several years."
Landscapes would replace Dakota Golf Management which has run the courses for the past 23 years. City Council still has to sign off.
Five companies were in the running for the lucrative management job, including Great Life, which has hinted it may appeal the selection process.
The city's three golf courses are Kuehn Park, Prairie Green and Elmwood.
