Sioux Falls, SD (KELO.com) - A violent domestic assault in northern Sioux Falls resulted in a Minnehaha County Deputy shooting a suspect.
Officers were called to a location in the 6200 block of North Cliff Avenue just before 1:30 Saturday morning. When the first deputy arrived, he was confronted by a suspect armed with a weapon. The suspect received one gunshot wound, was given first aid by deputies and transported to a hospital.
The State Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating.
