SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- The second weekend of the Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood experience is upon us, and officials at the Premier Center say they will take what they learned from the first wave of shows into the next.
Assistant GM Chris Semrau says a few little things came to their attention over the first weekend of shows including a lack of signage around the venue and parking areas, guiding guests to "where lines begin, where the pre-party entrances are, and what items you are prohibited from bringing in."
One of the biggest complaints of the weekend came from those who used the shuttle from the WH Lyon Fairgrounds for Saturday's shows. Early concertgoers complained of long wait times to get back to their vehicles, with some even walking back to their car to avoid the wait. Semrau says they plan to address that in a meeting with the shuttle company on Thursday.
Semrau says it's all part of the process of big shows like this. "You go back to the drawing board and review what went well and what has room for improvement." He adds that many concertgoers won't notices the differences if they attended one of the first shows of Brooks's stay in Sioux Falls.
Brooks and Yearwood will play two shows each on Saturday and Sunday.
