SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Sporting a tan cowboy hat, a checkered button western shirt, blue jeans and brown cowboy books, Mayor Mike "Tex" Huether is ready for the onslaught of nine Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood concerts.
Earlier this week, the Mayor asked Sioux Falls residents to dress up for a "western causual day" in honor of the country duo coming to Sioux Falls--and to just have fun. But you don't have to.
"Come as you are, be comfortable," Huether said. "Be ready to have a good time."
The Mayor and his wife Cindy are going to a Saturday performance with good friends of their from Wisconsin.
So, did the City's First Lady dress the Mayor?
The Mayor gave a resounding "no" but said he bought his outfit locally at several Sioux Falls western wear stores.
