SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Thank you, good people of the Sioux Empire!
With your help and the help of our partners KSFY-TV and Southeast Technical Institute, we raised over $6,000 for Red Cross disaster relief for victims of hurricanes and filled a semi-trailer with food and other supplies for the Houston Food Bank on Friday.
All six of the Midwest Communications Radio stations participated in the fund raising event, with STI providing a semi-tractor and trailer and student volunteers and KSFY-TV providing live cut-ins.
There's still some more change to be counted, so we'll have a final number for you soon.
