That's what the Sioux Falls City Attorney's Office told City Councilor Theresa Stehly today (Friday) about her request for an opinion whether she can circulate petitions for ballot measures in a city election or head a city ballot committee.
Assistant City Attoney Danny Brown advised Stehly that she should seek an advisory opinion from City Board of Ethics.
