Sioux Falls, S.D. (KELO.com) – Sioux Fall Police are investigating an incident where gunshots hit a residence in Southwest Sioux Falls Friday night.
Sioux Falls Police Department responded to an apartment complex near W 43rd Street and S. Westport Avenue. Multiple residents had called 911 to report hearing people fighting and what they believed to be gunshots.
Once officers arrived on scene they located evidence that the structure had been hit with a gunshot. Officers were able to contact victims and witnesses and the investigation continues. The initial investigation shows that a dispute over narcotics may have led to a physical altercation and the gunfire.
No injuries were reported. Further information will be available at the Tuesday morning press briefing.
