SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) -- The Sioux Falls Roosevelt boy's basketball squad have begun a clothing drive for those affected by flooding in southeast Texas.
The Rough Riders twitter account sent a message Monday asking for donations of gently worn athletic shoes to send to the area. The RHS coaching staff will also be sending Rough Rider T-Shirts to the relief efforts.
Those who have gently used athletic shoes to donate can do so at the Roosevelt coaches office. Donations will be taken until September 8th.
University of Huston Men's Basketball coach Kelvin Sampson is leading the drive, according to Monday's tweet.
