Who do S.D. farmers trust for ag information?

ABERDEEN, S.D. (KELO.com) -- Who do South Dakota farmers and ranchers believe most when it comes to agricultural information?  

According to a new survey, they trust their veterinarian and extension agents most and agricultural media the least.  

Here are the results from Legislative Research Council from a study conducted in 2013 of 400 ag producers:  

How trustworthy are these sources of information? 7-point scale; 1=not at all trustworthy and 7=extremely trustworthy

Nutritionists 5.14

Friends and neighbors 5.13

Local cooperative 5.11

Seed rep 4.94

Commodity associations 4.40
