Sioux Falls, S.D. (KELO AM) - The most anticipated concert in the brief history of the Denny Sanford Premier Center will put its tickets on sale this Friday.
"[Garth Brooks] consistently takes steps to take care of his fans, and he wants to put the tickets directly in their hands," said Premier Center Assistant GM Chris Semrau. Due to those steps the on-sale process will run a little differently than previous shows.
Semrau says the first thing fans should do is update their payment and delivery information at ticketmaster.com, or sign up a new account. "This will help for a more smooth transition and expedite the purchasing process on Friday."
Certain floor seats for the show will also utilize paperless delivery, meaning the credit card used to buy the tickets will also be used for entry into the show. "Artists do this to try to limit some of the secondary reselling of tickets," said Semrau. He added the paperless process has been used for other shows at the Premier center with little to no hiccups. "It's been a smooth transition for the guests who have used it in the past and we don't expect anything different this time around."
With the paperless process, all individuals going to the show must enter the venue at the same time with the cardholder. They do receive a small receipt identifying their seats.
Each and every ticket for the September 16th show goes on sale Friday with no presales, and all carry the same price of $74.98. There will be no walk-up ticket sales at the box office; tickets will only be available online or by calling Ticketmaster directly.
