Sioux Falls, S.D. (KELO AM) - Libraries are places for lifelong learning. And since the topic is beer brewing, Siouxland Libraries Caille Branch will bring in an expert for its three-session series, Beer Brewing 101. Each runs 7–8:30 p.m.
Jason Currie-Olson, co-owner of WoodGrain Brewing Company, will present the first two programs at the library, 4100 South Carnegie Circle. “What is Beer,” Monday, July 17, will focus on ingredients. Session 2, Monday, July 24, “How to Beer” will examine the tools and process of brewing.
The class then moves to WoodGrain Brewing Company, 101 South Phillips Avenue, for the final session, which will consider the flavor profiles of popular craft beers. There will be a $6 fee at the door.
Participants must be at least 21 years of age. Registration is required at 367-8144 or www.siouxlandlib.org.
