SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) A construction worker was injured Monday at the Sanford Health Imaginetics building site at 22nd and Grange in central Sioux Falls.
Police say the 33-year-old man was struck with a steal beam that broke loose from a crane as he and another worker were guiding the beam into place. Callers to 911 said they saw the man hanging in the air. He was hospitalized with reported non-life threatening injuries.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue and Paramedics Plus assisted at the accident scene.
