SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls police are investigating a hit and run accident that injured two people.
Officers were called to the area of 9th Street and Cliff Avenue for a hit and run accident involving two pedestrians just before 11 p.m. Saturday night.
A male and a female were found lying in the street. The male had a broken leg and internal injuries. The female was unconscious, not breathing and had multiple broken bones. First responders started CPR on the female. Both were taken to a local hospital, where the female was revived and stabilized.
The police department is asking for the public’s help in locating the vehicle involved in the accident. Witnesses described the vehicle as a 4 door blue sedan. The vehicle will have front end damage to include a smashed windshield. The vehicle was occupied by two Asian or Native American males at the time of the accident.
