CASTLEWOOD, S.D. (KELO AM) Severe storms caused much damage in Castlewood, South Dakota in the very early hours of Thursday morning.
Authorities say that the storms damaged building and trees and knocked down power lines.
An assisted living home in Castlewood had to be evacuated because of major damage.
U.S. Representative Kristi Noem's farm is near Castlewood in the northeastern part of the state.
