SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO-AM) -- State Sen. Reynold Nesiba (D-Sioux Falls) says legislators should keep their hands off the ballot measure process in the state.
Nesiba, whos serves on a summer study committee looking at initiative and referendum, says there may be a few tweaks that could be made to help the Legislative Research Council and the Attorney General do their jobs in the process. However, he says there's no need for major reforms.
Nesiba made his comments to KELO Radio's Todd Epp folowing his appearance on The Greg Belfrage Show this morning.
