WATERTOWN, SD (KELO AM) - Watertown is cleaning up after severe storms rolled through the area early Sunday morning.
The storm moved through the area at about 5:30 a.m. Watertown Fire Rescue and other responders are busy today repairing downed power lines, cleaning up debris and removing toppled trees following severe weather with winds that were clocked in excess of 7o mph.
Many businesses located along highway 212 are without power at this hour as Watertown Municipal Utility crews work to erect poles and restore power. Other areas of Watertown are reporting similar power issues.
