WASHINGTON, D.C. (KELO AM) President Trump announced from the White House Rose Garden on Thursday that the U.S. is pulling out of the Paris Climate Treaty.
But Trump announced that the U.S. will be willing to re-enter negotiations for the Paris treaty or another accord to address climate change that would be fair to the country.
He said that the treaty is another example of America entering an agreement that is disadvantageous to the country. He said it would place "draconian" financial burdens on the United States.
Trump declared that the U.S. is the world's leader in environmental protection.
