SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO-AM) -- Former Sioux Falls Fire Rescue Chief Jim Sideras has pleaded not guilty to ten counts of possession of child pornography.
His attorney entered the plea Thursday in Minnehaha County Court. Sideras, dressed in suit and tie, did not say a word in court, or to the media as he was leaving the courthouse.
The Judge ordered that Sideras must turn over his passport, that he not leave South Dakota without permission, and that he must have absolutely no access to the Internet.
This is a developing story. KSFY contributed to the report.
Sideras had spent over 30 years at the fire department and had announced his retirement only weeks before the shocking charges were brought against him.
