SIOUX FALLS,S.D. (KELO AM) - The National Weather Service cancelled an earlier Severe Thunderstorm Watch early Tuesday morning, but they say more thunderstorms are possible later today, as we're in a more active weather pattern. You may have noticed the humid air. Combine that with daytime heating and an instabile air mass, and you've got a recipe for Mother Nature's sound and light show!

Early Monday morning, a strong storm ripped through the Douglas County community of Armour, casing damage to trees, roofs and businesses through the town. Monday night saw storms moving up from northern Nebraska, with small hail and heavy rain reported in Bon Homme County.

Forecasters say we're in for upwards of 2 inches of rainfall totals by Thursday, with some localized flash flooding possible with heavier storm systems rolling in to Southeast South Dakota, Southwest Minnesota and Northwest Iowa.
