SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) – Two people were arrested Friday night after a stabbing in downtown Sioux Falls.
Officers were called to the area near TommyJacks Bar just before 10:00 Friday night for a fight.
When officers arrived, one of the subjects fled the scene, but was located in the 200 block of East 11th. Street. After resisting officers, he was placed under arrest and was transported to a local hospital with a stab wound, treated and released.
The suspect in the stabbing, identified as 50 year-old Steven Todd Torpy of Sioux Falls, was located and arrested for aggravated assault.
