Sioux Falls, S.D. (KELO AM) - Former Fire Rescue Chief Jim Sideras isn't arrested or charged with any crime as of yet, however he is an outlaw as far as his former employer is concerned.
Interim Chief Brad Goodroad issued a memo Tuesday telling all employees of the department to not allow Sideras into any buidlings or have any contact with their former leader. The message reportedly encouraged anyone who sees Sideras or who is contacted by him to inform their supervisor, and encouraged all employees to not comment on the matter publicly.
It remains unclear what triggered Tuesday's raid of Sideras' southeastern Sioux Falls home and firing. Sideras had planned to go out on his own terms at the end of June, the city will continue a national search for its next full time Fire Chief.
