COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA (KELO AM) In Council Bluffs Iowa Monday morning, two Sheriff's Deputies were shot, one fatally, by an escaping jail inmate.
The inmate was reportedly in a jail transport vehicle when he made his bloody break. He then carjacked another vehicle before being recaptured in Omaha.
