Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) – A Saturday night fire damaged a business in Sioux Falls.
Crews were called just before midnight to a structure fire at 1406 S. Minnesota Ave. A 911 caller reported smoke and flames coming from the back of a business at 1406 S. Minnesota Ave.
Fire units arrived and found a fire in the business towards the back of the structure. Fire crews extinguished the fire in approximately 15 minutes and there were no civilian or responder injuries. The business suffered moderate smoke and fire damage throughout the building.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded with 2 support vehicles, 5 fire trucks, and 23 firefighters. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Sioux Falls Fire Rescue was assisted by Paramedics Plus Ambulance, Mid-American Energy, and Sioux Falls Police Department.
