SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) A pizza delivery driver used her pizzas as weapons against some robbers in Sioux Falls.
Officer Sam Clemens says it happened outside an apartment in the 700 block of South Dakota Avenue, when three men jumped out of a laundry room at her.
"She had a couple of bags with the pizza inside of it, swung and hit them. One of them dropped on the ground. They took that and ran," explains Clemens.
The feisty delivery driver was not hurt. Clemens says it turns out that the person in the apartment had never ordered any pizza. It was obviously some sort of setup.
Pizza delivery can be a dangerous job, especially in certain parts of town.
