SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Police again today responded to the incident at a religious conference earlier this month involving Ehab Jaber who posted a Facebook video of himself and the guns he had in his vehicle.
Lieutenant Mike Colwill says police and the FBI interviewed Jaber after he voluntarily left the conference that was being held in a hotel on South Lousie Avenue in Lincoln County.
Colwill says the case was fully investigated by police and the FBI and has been transferred to the Lincoln County State's Attorney for consideration of possible charges.
Colwill says investigators centered on if Jaber legally possessed the weapons in the video and if his language was threatening in any way. He says Jaber has a conceal carry permit and legally owns all his weapons.
He says Jaber has been cooperative in the investigation and police have been in contact with him several times.
Jaber walked into the hotel April 9th where a religious symposium was taking place and security noticed he was armed. He was asked to leave and he did so. He went to his vehicle where he recorded video of himself lashing out and displaying various weapons. Jaber posted his rant on Facebook.
