NORTH OF SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) A smoky grass fire just north of Sioux Falls caused poor visibility on Interstate 29 for a couple of hours Monday afternoon.
Volunteers from Crooks, Renner and Baltic helped the State Department of Transportation put out the fire.
The thick, black smoke swirled up into the sky, looking like a dust devil or smoky funnel cloud from a distance.
