SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The line was long out of Coffea Roasterie in downtown Sioux Falls Thursday morning because Allegiant Airline was celebrating 13 years of service in the city with free coffee and free vacation packages.
Katy Venus, who works across the street from Coffea Roasterie, won a trip to Tampa and St. Petersburg Beach. She says her cup of tea had an airplane on the bottom indicating that she was one of five winners.
Allegiant gave away five vacation packages to one of the Sunbelt locations the airline serves out of Sioux Falls Regional Airport.
Allegiant serves Orlando, Tampa Bay, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Phoenix.
Allegiant's Kim Shaefer says "in the last 13 years, we've flown 1.7 million passengers out of the Sioux Falls Airport."
