SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Time is running out to donate cash to Feeding South Dakota to be matched by the Professional Bull Riders in town this weekend at the Denny.
Nick Oyen with Feeding South Dakota says all new monthly donors will have their first gift quadrupled. He says all one-time donations made online will also be matched by the PBR and Friday is the deadline for both options.
Oyen says if Feeding South Dakota can reach the monthly donor match goal, in-total monthly donors would provide almost 600,000 meals a year, just by getting a few more monthly donors in the tent.
The goal for this matching challenge is an increase of $25,000 in sustained, annual funds to help run the hunger relief programs at Feeding South Dakota.
Monthly donors help provide meals to over 191,000 individuals helped by Feeding South Dakota each year.
To give toward this matching gift and help "Buck Hunger," go to www.feedingsouthdakota.org and click "Saddle Up to Buck Hunger." The first month's gift for all new monthly donors will be quadrupled thanks to the Professional Bull Riders. The deadline is Friday, March 31.
