UNDATED (KELO.COM) Governor Dennis Daugaard is really getting ripped by the sponsor of one of the gun bills he vetoed.
Republican State Representative Lynne DiSanto fumes that Daugaard couldn't be elected dogcatcher now in South Dakota.
"All we can hope to do to minimize the damage that he is going to do in our state to move against the conservative principles we stand for," DiSanto tells KCCR Radio in Pierre.
DiSanto claims Daugaard is not a true conservative.
"At this point I think the people of South Dakota have had enough, and they've had enough of Daugaard."
DiSanto's bill would have allowed South Dakotans to conceal carry without a permit. The Governor also vetoed a bill that would have allowed people to conceal carry inside the State Capitol building with an enhanced permit.
